I kept setting my early alarm, and to my amazement, I found that my mornings felt revitalizing. It became clear that waking up early has a more profound impact on my day than I had ever realized. Make it a point to retire earlier in the evening. If you keep your late-night habits while trying to rise early, something has to give. Even if you don't feel tired, try reading in bed to help you fall asleep sooner than you expect.

Position your alarm clock away from your bedside so you have to physically get out of bed to turn it off. Once you're up, resist the urge to crawl back under the covers. I find that a quick trip to the bathroom helps me wake up properly.

Avoid making excuses for staying in bed. You must have a compelling reason to get up early—something that motivates you. Personally, I enjoy writing in the mornings and love reading your feedback afterward.

Transform waking up early into a rewarding experience. Initially, it may feel challenging, but if you associate it with enjoyable activities—like brewing a good cup of coffee or savoring a delightful breakfast—you'll soon look forward to those early hours.
