Imagine a whale trying to act like a monkey. It’s a curious thought, isn’t it? Have you ever witnessed a whale with fur, fretting about its lack of wings, or munching on bananas? Conversely, have you ever seen a monkey residing in the ocean’s depths? Such scenarios are not just odd; they highlight a fundamental absurdity.
Furthermore, forcing animals to adapt to unsuitable diets or environments is a form of cruelty that we often overlook. When caring for animals, we strive to replicate their natural habitats; fish remain in water, and parrots are not confined to aquariums. But why do we fail to apply this principle to humans?
Humans uniquely deprive themselves of dignity and the right to their true selves, often neglecting their well-being. Many of us continuously attempt to mold ourselves, our children, and our loved ones into someone who fits societal expectations.
“Be like this” or “Be like that” because your neighbor’s child plays the violin! Are you any less worthy?
“Act this way” because I expect my partner to behave properly or because I want my employee to follow my instructions.
“I should be like this” because I once heard it was the right way to live.
Ask yourself: Have you ever seen an antelope questioning if it’s living correctly? Or a cat doubting its own existence?
No? Then it’s time to reflect: Who are you? Answer this question honestly.
If, at any moment, you realize you are a WHALE masquerading as a monkey, stop consuming what isn’t right for you and start swimming freely. The universe tends to nurture us when we don’t resist our true nature, and life becomes significantly simpler when everyone embraces what they genuinely need.
