Chapter 1: Reflections on My Year of Writing
It has now been a year since I began my writing journey on Medium, and I can confidently say it has been quite successful. Initially, my earnings were minimal, with just one cent in my first month. However, things took a turn for the better soon after. In this article, I aim to inspire both current and aspiring writers by sharing my monthly earnings and links to some of my highest-earning stories—those that generated over $100.
Over the past year, I selected six stories for further promotion and plan to expand on that in my second year. My total earnings reached $4,709.11 throughout this period. Additionally, I've attracted two significant clients from my articles, each contributing over $10,000 in revenue. I was also commissioned to write an article for a product promotion, for which I received $50. Overall, I've published 201 pieces in the last year. Furthermore, I've been approached by two students seeking mentorship based on my stories, a commitment I plan to fulfill once my schedule allows.
